Your data stays in your browser.
DegreeToRole has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no uploads. The site itself does not collect or send your personal information to any server we run.
What is saved, and where
- Your qualification and saved paths are saved in your browser’s local storage on this device so the site can remember them.
- Your comparison is kept for the current browser tab only.
- Resume, plan and practice answers are saved only when you choose Save. Until then they stay in memory.
- Downloads and printouts are created on your device.
Keep in mind
- Browser storage is not encrypted by this site. Other people who use the same browser profile may be able to see it.
- To remove it, use the button below or clear this site’s data in your browser settings.
- Clearing browser data, switching browsers or moving to a new web address does not transfer your drafts, so download a copy first.
Hosting logs
- This site is hosted by Vercel.
- Like any website, the host may record standard server logs such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested.
- We do not use these logs to identify visitors, and we do not add cookies or tracking of our own.
Sharing
- “Share on WhatsApp” opens WhatsApp with text you can read and edit before sending.
- The text contains a role title, a short summary and a link. It does not contain your qualification, saved paths or anything you wrote.
- This site sends nothing itself.
Links to other sites
- Source links lead to employers, institutions and regulators.
- Those sites have their own privacy practices, and opening them contacts them.
If you write to us
- If you email support@degreetorole.com, we receive whatever you send, including your address.
- We use it only to answer you and to record a correction, and keep it only as long as needed for that.
- Please do not send identity documents, health information or resumes.
Children
The site is written for graduates. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to write to us for you.
Your questions and requests
- Ask us to correct or delete anything you have emailed us at support@degreetorole.com.
- We aim to reply within 30 days.
