The work
Not established. The cited documents describe admission, not what an MCA graduate does.
Entry requirements
- NIMCET-2026 accepted any undergraduate programme of at least three years that had Mathematics or Statistics as a subject, or B.E./B.Tech, with at least 60% or CGPA 6.5 (55% or 6.0 for SC/ST/PwD).
- MAH-MCA-CET 2026 named B.E./B.Tech, B.Sc, B.Com, B.Voc and BCA, with Mathematics at 10+2 or graduation 'preferably' and at least 50% marks.
- Christ University lists B.Sc Computer Science or BCA with 50%, or a degree with Mathematics or Computer Science as major or minor.
Trade-offs to consider
- NIMCET does not name BCA: whether a BCA graduate qualifies depends on whether the degree had Mathematics or Statistics as a subject.
- The NIMCET brochure says it is the only route to MCA at the 11 NITs and 2 IIITs it lists.
- Every figure and date shown is from the 2026 cycle
- the 2027 notices were not yet published on 25 October 2026.

- Programme fees are not shown because the brochure's fee tables need a check by eye.
