NBEMS conducted NEET-PG 2026 on 30 August 2026 on a computer-based platform for MD, MS, DNB and DrNB (Direct 6 Years) and PG medical diploma courses of the 2026-27 session, .
MCC counselled the 50% all-India-quota seats, and states and union territories generate their own merit lists.
The study itself is not described.

Entry requirements

NBEMS fixed 30 September 2026 as the internship completion cut-off date, says the MBBS aggregate marks in the application are verified against original credentials, and says candidature is provisional until the bulletin's eligibility criteria are met.
MCC lists the MBBS degree or provisional certificate and the mark sheets of the three professional examinations among the documents at reporting.
The NEET-PG information bulletin itself could not be read, so the exam fee, test pattern and full eligibility are not established here.

Trade-offs to consider

The security deposit paid for counselling is forfeited if a seat allotted in Round 2 or later is not joined, and Armed Forces Medical Services seats need a bond of Rs 60,50,000 for session 2026-29 if the candidate is unwilling to join AFMS on completion.
