SSC lists posts such as Assistant Audit Officer, Inspector (Income Tax, Central Excise), Sub Inspector (CBI), Junior Statistical Officer and Upper Division Clerk across ministries and offices, and SBI recruits Probationary Officers.
Day-to-day work is not described in these notices.

Entry requirements

These notices ask for a bachelor's degree from a recognised university and name no subject, and B.A. and B.Sc. are not named.
SSC accepts final-year students who hold the degree on 1 August 2026, and SBI accepts final-year students provisionally.
Age limits run from 18 to 32 depending on the SSC post and 21 to 30 at SBI.
Junior Statistical Officer and Statistical Investigator Grade-II name Statistics or related subjects.

Trade-offs to consider

All SSC posts carry all-India service liability and some have physical and medical standards, and SSC says more than 28 lakh candidates had applied for CGL 2026 before the application window was reopened.
Selected SBI Probationary Officers must sign a Rs 2 lakh bond to serve for at least three years and may be posted anywhere in India.
